this is an old tweak that was brought back on another site.
might help some of you people, I noticed a bit of a difference
* 1. Type "about:config" in the adress field.
* 2. Set the value of network.http.pipelining to "true".
* 3. Set the value of network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to "100".
* 4. Set the value of network.http.proxy.pipelining to "true"
* 5. Set the value of nglayout.initialpaint.delay to "0"
#5 needs to be entered manually. Right click choose "add new entry" and choose "Integer"
Hope it runs faster for you now :)

Mon, January 3, 2005 - 6:27 AMI've read it causes flash errors. I just started using the flashblock extension that prevents flash from automatically loading. I wonder what would happen if I used flashblock with the speed trick.
